WORKSHOPS FOR YOUR SHOW CHOIR!!!

JEFF BOWEN, Arranger, talks to your show choir about music,

arrangements and arranging, judging competitions and live performances.

Jeff has written arrangements for high schools and colleges since 1991, in which time he has also judged show choir competitions and has had his own works sold and performed. He has also performed for many audiences for over 20 years. Jeff is a graduate of Indiana State University earning a BS in Music Merchandising. In this workshop, he explains and conveys through hands-on interaction all aspects of show choir performing and what judges are really looking for. He even performs and talks about his career in the show choir industry.

KELLY WOODRUFF, business manager, entrepreneur, theatrical

director, author, motivator and corporate trainer.

Kelly talks to your students about the business end of the show choir industry, motivation, stage presence, goals, motivational skills, and working with others. Kelly has over 20 years experience in management, training and business ownership. He has also had his own works sold and performed.

CONNIE 'TOOTSIE ROSE' FREEMAN, actress, writer and poet.

Connie has been performing for many years. She has performed as a female impressionist imitating over sixteen characters! She co-starred with Ray Stevens in the video release "GET SERIOUS", appeared as Judy Garland in "FINDING GRACELAND" (which is still showing on HBO), and has worked with Bob Eubanks on "THE GAME SHOW" at Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee. She has performed her original one-woman show "Remembering...An Evening With Judy Garland" all over the south. (See "Remembering...Judy Garland" to the left for more information!) She has also performed on other national television works, commercials and voice-overs.
